Summer is here and for many of us, we want to simplify the process of figuring out what to wear. So, we gathered up some of our favorite summer essentials and put together a little Summer Lookbook for you.  So let's start from the top!    

1. SHADES  

 Having the right pair of shades not only protects your beautiful eyes from dangerous UV rays, it also allows you to survey a room or situation behind the protection of your lenses. One of the most important initial steps when picking the right pair of sunglasses is taking into account your face shape. For example, if you have a round shaped face, you want to steer away from round lenses and look for square shapes. So many retailers also offer virtual try-on experiences.

 Not to state the obvious, but not only can hats put the final touch on your outfit, but it also helps on those really bad hair days! There are so many great options from the trendy bucket hat, to fedoras, to our personal favorite, the snapback! The good news is, Dapper Boi has an entire collection to choose from.   

3. BOLD COLORS 

 Summer means fun in the sun, which also includes adding some flair to your outfit with bold colors! On those days when you don't know what to wear but you still want to stand out, add that pop of color and you're good to go!  .  

4. LIGHT COLOR BOTTOMS 

 So, we're not sure who made up the rule about wearing white after Labor Day but we are here to change things up so you can sport this look even as we transition to the Fall season. So instead of the standard khaki bottoms or cargo shorts, we've updated the look with our Cream Chino Shorts. What we love about these shorts is that they can be paired with almost anything. Pictured below we have it paired with a Denim Button-Up. These would also look great with a henley or crewneck. 

5. SHORTS, SHORTS, & MORE SHORTS 

 In case you didn't notice from the heading above, we love a good pair of shorts. It doesn't matter if its chino, jean, or sweatshorts, every single style is perfect for the season. 6. LIGHTWEIGHT JACKET 

 One of our favorite past times in the summer is a good 'ole sunset bonfire. Hanging out by the fire with friends, telling stories, or roasting marshmallows is so much fun! Even though it is summer though, when the sun goes down, so does the temperature. So, the best way to look fashionable and stay cozy is with a lightweight jacket. A denim jacket or light colored bomber is perfect, and the even better news is that these also transition well into fall.
